Mornings on the dock obscure the background with a wonderful soft fog, and leave the many spiderwebs with a good amount of dew.

I don't know which spider left this one, but I don't think it was the giant (3, maybe 4, inches leg-to-leg) swimming spider that lived on the floating dock and watched us have our fun.

As months pass, the stories of the spider's size grow in proportion to time passed. Next summer we'll be talking about the three-foot spider that was eating the lake trout in one bit.
