The Exeter Eagle, Part II // Aug 03, 2008 // Comments [0]

The Exeter Eagle is a horse-drawn, steam-powered fire wagon purchased by the Town (Exeter, NH) in 1873.

It worked for the Town until the 1940's, and was completely refurbished in 1971. The steamer is pumped annually the second Sunday in June on Swasey Parkway for the viewing pleasure of Exeter citizens.

These photos are from that day in 2008.
