A few more band shots. I really like the expressions of blues and folk singers - they really get into the feeling of the music.
Because I'm shooting in low light, and because I'm using a noisy D200 at higher ISOs, I do away with some of the color issues by converting to momochrome with a slight tint. Brownish for folk and bluish for jazz & blues.

Jamie guessed yesterday's mystery straight wawy. I was hoping to get a few days of throwing more photos of Indian Corn up, some of which look like coffee beans, some like marbled glass beads, some like Jelly Beans.

I've taken to snapping at music events lately. I find folk and blues artists to be especially photogeneic.
This is a musician taking a break and enjoying his band's music from the back of a church where the NH Folk Festival was held. Although I'm not a folk music fan, the Jake Armerding band really hit a sweet spot in me.

A quick trip back to summer before the snow starts here in the north.
I had to get up early to catch the morning fog surrounding our dock on Trickey Pond, Maine's cleanest lake accoroding to the EPA.
